A reflection of the challenging situation faced by the PLHIV community
We are very excited to share the new logo for the People Living with HIV Stigma Index! With the updated version of the PLHIV Stigma Index 2.0 tool and the development of a standard methodology for the project, it was time to update the look of the PLHIV Stigma Index as well. Based on the projects’ fundamental principles and key features, this new logo better represents what the project is all about.
PLHIV are always at the core of each PLHIV Stigma Index implementation, this new logo puts people at the centre. Similar to recorded and categorized data, the formation of the symbols represents a chart, a visual display of research. The overlap and interconnectedness displayed by the symbols illustrate the intersectionality of identities and HIV-related stigma. In addition, the logo emphasizes the need for a collaborative and community-based approach, where we each connect and are actively involved throughout the process. The use of bright colours and the diversity of colours represents the diversity of PLHIV.
We hope you love the new logo as much as we do!
Please note that we will be in touch with all country teams currently implementing the PLHIV Stigma Index to share the logo and its guidelines shortly.
